It was made up of all 3 estates consisting of the Clergy which was the religious Pope and other figures making up an astounding 1% of the total population. The Nobles were the rich who owned land and lived a life of luxury making up 2% of the total population. The 3rd estate or better known as everyone else, The 3rd estate was made up of peasants. Peasants were the farmers who would borrow/rent land from the nobles in order to make a living. The 3rd estate furious with rage because their king won't listen to their cry's of help. Go next store to an empty tennis court and decide to make their own estate which they called the Natural Assembly and together they would make their own laws and rule the county on their own. They made the oath to never leave until the king had listened to their wants and changed. King Louis XVI didn't condone the actions of the Natural Assembly and ordered the court to be shut down.
