Listen attentively when others are talking. Wait patiently for your turn to speak and face the speaker. Respect the  yourself, this class, the teacher and this school. </strong></div><div>Responsible: <strong>Come prepared daily by bringing all materials to class. Excused absences will also result in a “0” grade and will remain in the grade book until the student successfully completes the missing assignment.  <strong>It is the</strong> <strong>student’s responsibility to refer to the course calendar, or the teacher’s  Youtube channel, or  consult with their student buddy. </strong></div><div><strong>Students who score below 70 on a test will have the option to retaking it after school as schedule by the teacher. </strong></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div><strong>Tardies:</strong> Students must be inside the classroom when the bell rings. If students are tardy three or more times, parents will be notified.  A referral will be written after four tardies. </div><div> </div><div><strong>Homework (Refer to the class website and study buddy for assignments and due dates.)</strong></div><div>Homework will be assigned on a regular basis with a clear and reasonable date designated for completion. Failure to complete homework assignments in a timely manner will result in a lower grade for the course.   Students are encouraged to sign up for Remind. Remind is a free app which is used to remind students of assignments and announcements.          <title>What is a flipped class?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A flipped classroom is one where students are introduced to content at home, and practice working through it at school.<br><br>Students will watch an assigned video from my YouTube channel, take notes in their spiral notebook, and complete their pre-work assignment before coming to class.<br><br>An easier way to think of it is students will take class notes at home and complete their homework at school.<br><br>&nbsp;It also has the side benefit of allowing students to pause, rewind, Google terms, rewatch, etc., as well as creating a ready-made library for student review, make-up work, etc.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
