In what ways do I find it interesting?

I find the lesson, Kinematics, interesting because I am curious how the system of bodies has motion without the forces involved. I was also confused before in junior high school with distance and displacement, as well as speed and velocity but it became clearer when discussed today.

2. Did I find the topic this week engaging? In what ways do I find it engaging?

The topic this week was engaging. Solving word problems was very challenging since I needed to have the formulas to solve them. However, it was very engaging because I like the feeling of solving the problems correctly and it makes me more interested in solving them again.

3. What are some of the difficulties that I have encountered in understanding the topic? Why?

Even if I like to solve word problems, it doesn't make it less difficult. I am having a hard time with numbers ever since grade school but I am trying my best to answer with all my knowledge. Answering them helps me practice my knowledge and makes me better at solving.

4. Additionally, the teacher is always asking us if we understand the lesson and if we didn't get it, he is explaining it slowly.

It was interesting because the problems were mostly unrealistic, or impossible to happen. The reaction time was also interesting because it is affected by the person's distractions and nowadays, accidents on the road happen and poor reaction time can lead to it.

2. Did I find the topic this week engaging? It was very interesting because I didn't know that the hammer and feather will drop at the same rate if there is no air. I've always thought that mass is one of the factors that is affecting the way things would fall. The whole discussion was interesting since we've answered problems involving real-life situations like tossing the coin upward, hot air balloons, and such.

2. Did I find the topic this week engaging?

WEEK 1

1. Did I find the topic this week interesting? In what ways do I find it interesting?

This is the first day in Physics for the second semester and we played Angry Birds as a starting game before discussing the lesson, the projectile motion since we just got back from a sembreak. The topic is interesting because we discussed the concepts of projectile motion, and the first thing that I learned is that because of gravity the trajectory or motion of an object is in a curved shape. Also, the given example, the ball thrown to the moving truck, is interesting because the two objects look dependent on each other but surprisingly, they are not.

2. Did I find the topic this week engaging? In what ways do I find it engaging?

It is also engaging since most of us played angry birds and the topic can be applied in real life because projectile motion finds applications in sports. Playing basketball, badminton, and other ball games are some of the projectile motions in real life. While throwing a basketball into the basket, the player shoots the ball in such a way that the flight taken by the ball is in the form of a parabola.

3. What are some of the difficulties that I have encountered in understanding the topic? Why?

I did not encounter difficulties in understanding the topic because I can still remember this lesson that was discussed when we were in Grade 9. Additionally, there are no formulae and problem solving involved yet that is why I understood the topic easily.

4. In what ways do I find it engaging?

It was engaging since we solved the projectile motion problems with different formulae. Especially now because we should be specific when it comes to the velocity, the questions "is it Vx?" "Is it Vy?" comes to my mind since it is different from free fall. In what ways do I find it interesting?

We discussed a new lesson for the 4th quarter but we first talked about the CGPS about friction. It was reallly interesting, especially the lesson about the 3rd Newton's Law of Motion, the examples that are given made me realize that to every action, there is always an opposed equal reaction like the mule and the cart, I realized that they are treated as one system.

2. Did I find the topic this week engaging? In what ways do I find it engaging?

Yes, it was engaging. Even though we did not solve problems this day, the examples amused me because there is really physics in everything even in birds, their flying motion, in the sport swimming, and many more.

3.
