      <description>An Illinois native, Elizabeth “Betsy” Lowery has worked with private and public agencies as a speech and language pathologist for over two decades. Elizabeth Lowery began preparing for her career by earning a bachelor of science in speech and hearing science from the University of Illinois.

She subsequently attended Governors State University to earn a master’s of health science in communication disorders. Following this, Betsy Lowery joined Group One, where she was a staff speech and language pathologist. In the position, she was contracted to work with hospitals in Indiana and Michigan.

These placements included Elkhart General, among other acute hospitals. She went on to hold a similar role with Chicago Public Schools for three years before becoming self-employed. As a self-employed contract pathologist, Elizabeth Lowery provided inpatient acute care, among other treatments, to patients.

After six years, she founded the Chicago, Illinois-based Little You Inc. In her role with the company, she oversees the assessment of patients and the development of care plans, among other responsibilities.
