Desde un primer momento los alumnos se mostraron entusiasmados para conocer este programa que modifica imágenes.Para comenzar la docente explicó que existen sitios donde hay imágenes libres y cuenta cual es la diferencias con seleccionar imágenes de sitios comunes a estos, ya que se pueden modificar y utilizar libremente las imágenes disponibles. Los alumnos trabajaron en grupos de cuatro. Exploraron y seleccionaron las imágenes que servirían para realizar un afiche que se colgaría en la galería de la institución. Luego, exploraron el programa GIMP. Siempre con la guía del docente ya que no tenían la experiencia de haber trabajado anteriormente con este programa. La experiencia fue enriquecedora, sumamente positiva ya que se pudo lograr llevar a cabo lo planificado.
