I love drawing and shading because it's just very calming and fun. I love all things nature, so that's basically what I make the most. Drawing, painting, and doing 5-D diamond painting are my favorite forms of art. It's a mushroom house I made to experiment with different tones of shading. Hello there! Here I am, showing you how I draw characters digitally!
I really like drawing because it helps me escape reality for a bit! Also, it's a really satisfying way of expressing myself or my interests sometimes!
I enjoy digital art for the most part, but I also enjoy doing water color art, and just random sketches on paper too!

This is my character/OC named Celeste Auclair! All my character's have a bit of a complicated story behind them, so I'll keep Celeste's short! He's a private detective from France who's visiting Kyoto, a city in Japan, for a case he took on! I didn't even realize before, but his color scheme ironically ended up being the colors of the French flag, LOL!
I also use cats in my drawings as a watermark! So whenever you see a badly drawn cat in a drawing, you can be sure that it's mine! Hope you like the drawing, and I can't wait to see more art from you guys! ~ Alaiyah ★

People have often told me that I have a moldable face, meaning that it can be shaped into anything. That is one of the many reasons I love face painting. I can create numerous versions of myself using my love for art. The design on my face in the photo shown above represents abstract liquid pools. I used the colors deep red, sky blue, and iridescent silver to create a Bomb Pop sort of color scheme. There really is no meaning behind this artwork. It was just an idea that came to mind and I transferred it to a canvas.

Hello its Xaia and I enjoyed this movie so I decided to draw the family picture by scratch in my art style on ibs paint. No this is not a digital coloring page I drew this by hand. 😀 I made a big mistake starting this at night cause when I start an art project I can’t stop lol. So l was awake at 4 am trying to finish the sketch and line art. I finished everything in the span of 3 days. I did not have a stylus so I had to draw it with my finger. Just something I did of me and my friends from parkway middle, my old horrible school... our group chat is really just kinda alot of anger and memes and other random stuff, but don't worry we are kind of okay in a sense! All my friends are great! Anyways about the art, it's done on ibis paint and it took me 53 minutes. My friend Tae is the girl of color she really sweet and kind and I used a custom brush for her hair. The fire was done just by turning down the opacity alot and it was quite fun making this [Tae is the one of color, I'm the one with blue hair, Gracie is the blondie, and Emma is the one with highlights in her hair]

But for some context on my art here, this is one of my many OC's named Mamoru Kaede! But, this is when he was younger, about 14 or so! The whole craziness in this art is basically representation of his severe schizophrenia. Though, sometimes his schizophrenia acting up can just be plain confusing or positive. Finally decided to post on here. This was made on November 11th and there really isn’t much to say here, I mostly just wanted to do a drawing using ballpoint pen and draw big hair. I did use black markers for the larger black areas and fine liners for the outline. Not a huge fan of this artwork mostly because I don’t like the pose and the composition, but i had a lot a fun doing the shading and i think it came out quite interesting.

Hello everyone!

For all of you who've taken Biology or are taking Biology, I'm sure you can relate with me.

Last night, I was making a chain of yarn and my Biology brain became active-- The single chain is a Monohybrid Cross, and the double chain is a Dihybrid Cross. When my green and orange colors mixed in one area, it was heterozygous. Green was homozygous recessive and orange was homozygous dominant.

Voila! Biology comes to life with art.

I’ve been watching videos on dance performances and i’ve fell in love with it, so i decided to create an artwork inspired by that. I’ve ripped up old school papers and glued them into the page, then painted overtop with white paint to add some texture. The mediums i used were acrylic paint, markers, and soft pastels. I’ve always loved doing more abstract paintings like this because they’re so much fun to make and i just think they look really cool, especially with how expressive they look.

This drawing was inspired by both the Mozart performance, (mainly the performance of the cello) and one of my favorite songs called Rain by a band called bôa!

The character in the picture is Mamoru at age 24. In my last artwork, Mamoru was age 13-14. (I forgot the exact age. Excuse my bad memory.)

The blue sunflower and fall leaves represent Mamoru, since sunflowers symbolize loyalty, and his birthday is on my dad's birthday which is when fall starts to come around the corner! My mom actually suggested the fall leaves in the drawing when I told her about Mamoru's birthday falling on my dad's.

And because Mamoru has the same birthday as my dad, he also has traits in common with my dad! Quiet, humble, lazy, laid-back, and possibly the smartest person you'd meet.

Also, I might begin to put Lil as my watermark/signature on my artwork because it's shorter and it's also my most known nickname! So I hope nobody's confused by that!

I decided to redraw an old artwork i made back in November 12, 2019. I used ibispaint x for the old art and ibispaint for the new one (yes i use the paid version now). I’ve definitely made a lot a progress and i’m really proud of the new art. I feel like with the new art i enhanced the mood more by increasing the contrast and making the white of the girl’s eye black. You’ll also noticed i added a bit of texture to the new version which i’m loving. I’ve also improved the proportions, though i still need to work on those hands, but that’s okay cuz i know i’ll get to the level i want eventually.

I cracked the code! I drew on a computer ✨️ dude this took me so long 😩 but it turned out so good, I've accomplished this! there’s not really much context in this art. it’s supposed to be some mysterious hidden planet kinda similar to earth but not at the same time. i mainly used charcoal for this drawing and a bit of white acrylic paint. i was thinking of adding white paint splatters for the background, but i decided to keep it the way it is because i like the style of the art and how simplistic it is.

Simple yet amazing 👁👄👁💅

This is from out last art meeting, when I did the most over the top emo makeup :) I did it on my computer so still not the best but I'm getting better I used fire alpaca as the app so yeah 👍 I spent alot of time doing the backround- then i found the gradient option lol

Tip: if you use fire alpaca there is a gradient option so u can have a gradient backround just hit tool which should be up top and choose gradient (if ur on a computer you can just click shift+g) it should be easy to figure out how to use it also canvas size recommendation for what I use is 1000×1000 nothing smaller or bigger than that because it's simple and a good canvas size to use on fire alpaca imo

Drew this in the car yesterday, I've been really busy with family stuff but it's just a few sketches, I got a girls night with my- second cousins? cousins? I had fun doing this! I've kind of had artblock for a little while now so this was very refreshing. I decided to put my favorite OC to draw, Moriko, in the second spot because I always use her when I'm doing spmething unfamiliar art-wise. Recipe for how to art:

Ingredients: sketchbook, 13 pencils, and optionally markers and colored pencils

☆Start by finding a blank page in your sketchbook

☆Pick up your phone and open pinterest or Google

☆scroll 3-4 hours

☆get a snack whilst you wait

☆Start drawing with out a reference

☆add basic shapes and random things to your design

☆spend 20 minutes figuring out what's wrong

☆fix that thing

☆add details for no reason

☆Et.. Voila art ✨️

Haven’t posted here for a while cuz i was experiencing an art block (which is super fun and totally worth the experience) but what’s more important is that i finally finished something i like. I wanted to create a picture for the cover of one of my goth playlists, so that’s what i made here, a goth girl that has the same trad goth style that lots of other characters in my art had in the past. Although i can never get over my love for goth music and fashion and i will continue to draw goths forever and ever.

I used ibis paint to create this artwork. I sketched the drawing and colored it, then i used random photos from my photo gallery and filtered them. I placed the photos in random spots so that it looks like some sort college. I used this process before a long while back and I always liked how it looked. I think this art turned out great and it looks quite interesting.

Decided to redraw some old art cuz i really like to see how much i progressed over the years. I made the original back in 2018 when i was first learning to draw in an anime art style and redrew in 2019. I am absolutely in love with the new version. I gave the ballet dancer a more interesting pose. I put her hair up cuz in ballet you’re not supposed to have your hair down (clearly i knew nothing about ballet back then, but i was still very young and naive so i’ll let it slide). I also gave a better background, improved her face, and filtered the drawing. Oh and one thing that bothered me most was the shoes on the old drawings. In the second version, the pointe shoes have no support whatsoever like how is she standing like that without her feet hurting?

Anyways, one thing i noticed with all of these is that each time, the dancer looks like she got older. Like in the first drawing, she looks like she could be around 7-8 years old. The second one looks like she could be 10 or 11. And the third one looks like she’s around 17-21. She must’ve grown up really fast lol.

My little brother wanted me to make some art with him, so I decided to introduce him to my perler beads! I made the fish as an example for him, and I also made the cat, and he made the extremely colorful puppy shape! (I asked him if he wanted to make it look like a regular dog, like a dalmation or something, but he said no!) I decided to finally make an attempt at drawing the Armored Titan! I sadly did not have the right colors to color in all the hair or skin, so I just used gold as the outline since his hair was blond in the anime! I used pencils first, then pens and markers.

Maybe I'll draw some more Attack on Titan characters soon!

decided to do an acrylic painting cuz i almost never do acrylic paint paintings. i ripped up some old school papers and glued onto the page then painted it overtop. i also used some references on pinterest like ones for the pose, hat, and clothing. im really happy with how the painting came out especially with how long it took me. im especially proud of the shading on the dress. although there was too much space and i tried to fill it in by adding some sparkles and a metallic frame. my sketchbook is clearly way too big. luckily this sketchbook is almost done and my next one is a little smaller, so i might have an easier time with it.

Sorry I haven't posted, I've been surprisingly busy, my dad, uncle and I made breakfast of the grill I couldn't have any because I was very sick on the first weekend 😭) last weekend i got to see my uncle (after so dang long) and his girlfriend who is amazing, we went to the swap shop, everything is so cheap, I like cheap lol, I bird bit my finger though- haha 🥲 and this weekend I'm going to renfaire! Hello everyone !! I'm really sorry for not posting or commenting, and I apologize if I don't respond to some messages.

I never had the time to mention that I had gotten a new phone, and I don't use my phone as much at all, since I'm usually on the PS4 or on my computer. I also had some bad art block lately, but I somewhat seem to be getting the hang of leaving that art block behind!

By the way, this is my new OC, Utsuho! (うつほ, meaning empty.) His nickname is Ikari, or in kanji, 怒り。Also, I've been learning Japanese lately! It's a fun language with LOTS of rules...but I mean, can't get worse than English!

I don't have TOO much lore on him yet, but his personality is more fierce and tempered than my other OCs, despite how adorable he looks! Maybe he's grumpy because I made him 5'5 while most of my characters are around 5'7-6'1. I'm gonna make him 5'3 if he keeps this attitude up. >:(

Also, Utsuho's main essence in life is based off of respect, as he always got badly disrespected and looked down upon in the past and present by how short he was as a male.

So, his main goal is to show people that he may be tiny, but he's mighty, and he's been drinking milk lately! (Praying that Utsuho doesn't break the fourth wall and attack me for the bad puns...)

I also gave him the talent of being pretty good with a sword, and being a quick learner so far. He's also a special agent for the FBI. So yes, that's it so far for him! How to make umbrella.

What you'll need: Paper, glue, eight Q-tips or short pieces of plastic, at least a 5-inch-long piece of plastic, markers (optional)

Step one: Cut a circle in the paper. It does not matter the size of the circle.

Step two: Glue Q-tips or plastic to the underside of your umbrella. You can cut the plastic if needed. Try to have the ends of the plastic make a small circle. Furry part of Q-tips should point out at the edges.

Step three: Stab the 5-inch-long or so plastic through the center. Does not have to be exactly the center.

Step four: add patterns with the markers (optional).

Step five: Have fun with your mini umbrella, which you can place in your drinks.

Yep, me, I'm back, anyways these are some of my OC's, Leandra, Max, and Kristen (their are more)

These are their designs and notes, and a few extra page fillers! These characters are for a book thing I'm making [I WILL POST PHOTOS OF THE PAGES I MAKE FOR YALL! =D] it's about just their daily lives, their band "Devils Advicate" (leandra isn't part of the band but she designs the merch with Kristen and runs their little socials!) And I decided I'd add my little horror and random creatures to this little fictional world!

Explanation on their band and my reason for creation: I made these characters to try something new and ended up really liking them, I decided upon them being in a little high-school metel/rock/grunge band that me and my friends called "Devils Advicate" [Thank you to my bestie Thea bc we both share the same brain cells] These characters all in some way relate to me or a best friend [ex: I relate Kristen to my bsf Thea, I relate myself to max, etc.]

I drew this cat for an art challenge! The challenge is to have a wheel picker decide what you should draw, what colors to use, and how much time you have to draw it! I usually don't draw cats and I've only drawn them a few times but, she came out so good!! The wheel picked gold for the color, cat for the type of character, and 30 minutes for the time! The time pressure really made it fun and I was actually sweating! I can see a lot of imperfections that I might change in the future but I really had fun with this! What should I name my golden cat?

I made an actual scenery like I would in my paintings and I think this one came out good. I had to manually blend the sky myself, meaning there was no blending tool. I did this one after the rainbow ball I did.

Four Nights: The mystery of Jessica McCloud

Four Nights is based off of a nightmare I once had. It's about a girl named Jessica McCloud who went missing in a laboratory. Anyone who went in would get eaten by the monster in the picture. Only one person got out and managed to get this picture. I'm planning to make this a horror game when I'm older. Also, I am very sorry if this gives you nightmares.

A stack of rocks

I made a sculpture of the sea floor, but the rocks and shells fell off, so I just made a stack of rocks. It took like 15 minutes to get them to stay on top of each other.

The is the Prince of the Queen of the Underworld Anton and the Guardian to the entrance of the Underworld Leonardo. The prince is the one on the right with the sunglasses behind the DJ booth and the Guardian is the one on the right with the flowing cape, and long sword. Remember that now, because they are resting from a long day of work by dancing to baby shark. Oh, and they're both comic reliefs.
