- 13 believers were freed after a letter campaign although two pastors, Kiflu Gebremeskel and Haile Nayzgi who have been detained since May 23, 2004, are still imprisoned

- Pray for the imprisoned and their families, that they will be sustained spiritually, physically, and emotionally

- Pray that God will touch the hearts of the Eritrean government

- Pray that underground church leaders and believers will have fellowship in safety

Joanna is a sister at my home church. She is in her early 20s and has Down syndrome. In the past few years, she has been taking medications for her conditions but has developed headaches and other side effects.

Her headaches have been very painful in the past year and caused her to scream out in pain during the night. Her condition has taken a large toll on her family and especially her parents, who are very stressed and fatigued. Her neurologist has not been able to figure out why this is happening.

Please pray for comfort for Joanna and her family, and that God would provide His comfort and peace in this situation. Please pray for her doctor to find the right diagnosis and be able to provide an effective treatment to ease the pain.

Praise God for Fall Break and that we are almost halfway through the semester! Especially cool that the freshmen have made it through their first 8 weeks of college. Thankful that God has provided us a community of believers and friends, and may we continue to find strong fellowship with one another.

My exams went so much better that I could have expected. I know it was God’s hand because I was not prepared in the least for these exams. In every one of my 5 exams, there was a question I did not know how to do, and when I prayed, God somehow gave me an idea on how to do it.

I just want to pray for Jun. He doesn't enjoy his engineering/math related coursework and would rather do something like Psychology. However, since he's in the US, he feels obligated to study something more high paying. Haven't seen him in EPIC and would just like to pray for him, his finals, his future, and potential going back to Korea for military.

This has been heavy on my heart for a while now. I don’t feel happy anymore. I don’t know why or when it started and I want to go back to how I felt before where I could actually enjoy the time I spent with people but it feels like the world is passing by without me. I hate myself for not being able to get it together, and I can see my relationships strain because of my own inability to just be happy. I feel hollow a lot of the time now and my smile feels like a shell. I’m sorry if you read this and I made your day worse. I don’t know what prayer would even help at this point, but I pray I can keep it together so others don’t need to worry about me. thanks
