Students must learn to share their ideas with others and work in groups. This is a great way for them to attain self-determination through participation, critical thinking, and confidence-building. 

In the lesson plan below students will read the text and demonstrate comprehension of a short story, with a special focus on making inferences about its theme. Students can work in groups and share thoughts amongst one another.

At the school sites, the Employment Specialists work in conjunction with administrators, teachers, counselors, office staff, TPP facilitators, and  TPP transition assistants to help provide job-searching related instruction to the TPP student/client.
