During our Professional Learning Communities with all of our pathways, Guiding Coalition, Educational Services Leadership meetings, Learning Walks, and Advisory Meetings, we promote collaboration to include multiple perspectives and voices to elevate the learning experiences of our students and personalizing their experiences.

Collaboration is an organizational expectation and non-negotiable. All managers and classified support staff members at the Education Center must participate in classroom visits and Learning Walks so that they are connected to student learning. Collaboration time is built into the work schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

All pathway training programs are part of a pathway development/evaluation process. There is a three-year cycle of review of established pathways culminating in revised curriculum and pathway student learning outcomes (metrics) which are presented to the Board of Trustees for approval. The entire pathway development process model and components are based upon research-based concepts

PLC Guiding Coalition gives feedback and reflects on the needs of each pathway. The instructors work in their pathway PLC groups on instructor-generated initiatives while their administrators, instructional coaches, and the curriculum coordinator support their work.
