         <title>Station One: Edpuzzle (Small Group Instruction with the Teacher) </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Objective: The students will use EdPuzzle to watch a video on Native Americans, have discussions with the teacher and answer the questions asked. They will write down any vocabulary words they heard. This will allow them to reflect on the information that they are listening to. After watching and answering questions, they will write the definitions of the vocabulary words they heard and the teacher will have them verbally put them in sentences. <br><br>Technology: The students will use EdPuzzle to answer questions and find current vocabulary words. <br><br>Resources: The groups will use an iPad or computer to watch the EdPuzzle video. The teacher will also be a resource for questions and answers.<br><br>Assessment: The teacher will have them verbally put the vocabulary words from the EdPuzzle in sentences.   <br><br>  <br>For students:<br>It is important for us to know the culture of Native Americans since they were the first people here in America. We will watch a short video today about how they migrated and what brought their culture to life. There will be questions for you to answer as you watch the video and we will have short discussions about what we are seeing and learning in the video. I also would like you to write down any vocabulary words you hear throughout the video as well because I will be asking you to do a few things with them after the video.          <title>Station Two: Fire-pit Frenzy (Non-Technology)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Objective: The students will be able to match up current vocabulary words to the correct definitions in a collaborative activity called “Fire-Pit Frenzy.” The will work together to complete their fire fit. The rocks will have vocabulary words on them and the sticks will have the definitions. They will work together to match all of them together.<br><br>Technology: N/A<br><br>Resources: The students will only need the        definition sticks vocabulary word rocks to complete this station.</div><div> <br><br>Assessment: When a tribe says that they have finished their fire-pit, the teacher will check the student’s fire-pits for correct matches. </div><div> </div>]]></description>

         <title>Station Four: Google Slides (Individual Activity)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Objective: By the end of the class, the students will be able to take  google slide fact information about the seven Native Americans tribes of Ohio and distribute it into the correct sections on an organizational comparison chart in google classroom. <br><br>Technology: The students will use their iPad's to complete their organizational chart in google classroom.  <br><br><br>Resources: The students will only need their iPad's to create their organizational charts. <br><br><br>Assessment: The teacher will put up a seven-box grid on the smartboard of each tribe and ask the    students, “What tribe do you think find the most interesting after reading about them?" and to    choose the corresponding area in the room that matches the grid on the smartboard. After the students choose their corners, the teacher will ask why they feel that way.  </div>]]></description>
