Throughout this page I will outline, four different lessons and include four resources that will support the learning outcome for each lesson. I chose to aim my lessons at a year 2 class, with the overall topic being on Florence Nightingale. As this relates to the Key stage 1 National curriculum in History which states that children should be taught about "the lives of significant individuals in the past who have contributed to national and international achievements" (DfE, 2013: 2).
