Overall , the mining area experienced a number of changes, turning it from a working mine into a visitor's attraction.
In the west of the area, the office and staff changing room were merged and transformed into a museum whereas the car park remained unchanged. Furthermore, the entrance for underground mine was converted a working mine into a visitor' attaction. There used to be a medical room but it then transformed into cafe while lorry park was replaced by the souvenir. 
In the east side, waste tip 1 and waste tip 2 were replaced by digger driving track and picnic area respectively. Additionally, the children's play area was established, making the vacant space for kid to enjoy.
