I would score each group highly. I love the grading points that point out learning opportunities for both students AS WELL as the student teachers. Expressing feelings is crucial for collaborating in ideas, so this was also a huge point that both rubrics hit. Without proper encouraged feedback from the students the teachers would never know what works and what might need to be changed.

The emphasis on using videos and interactive photos is huge especially with students in other places in the world. The atmosphere of the online classroom can be difficult, so having that as a grading point to hit is a great addition. All fours for this rubric.

This rubric stuck out more than all the others solely on the mention of accessibility for all students. Without all students being able to equally participate this project would not be possible, so great addition. I love the point of the work matching the communication. I really enjoyed the second column of your rubric mentioning the different formats for the students. This project was very new and different to us and having these students speak in a different language at points can be challenging. By having all this technology and different formats to get their ideas across and help them understand us and help us understand them is so important. You guys deserve 4s for being able to switch the different platforms and being able to communicate with them and making sure they are heard is so important and a great way to make sure they feel included and, in a way, understood.

Hi! As a group, I was very satisfied with how well we worked together to complete this project. I liked the detail of mentioning how students and teachers learn from each other. Many believe that a teacher is all-knowing and only the students need to learn from others. There were so many groups involved with this project and I believe that the end result was amazing! Hey, guys! :) I TRULY believe you are all deserving of 4's for the work that you did. The fact that the emphasis was so heavily based on ensuring that all students had access to resources and materials is such an important part of being a teacher! I remember a friend of mine telling me about how she was struggling so much financially in high school that she had to make her own flashcards out of paper she ripped out from her notebook and made each flashcard by cutting them out herself. Her parents couldn't afford to buy them and when she arrived at school, her teacher ripped every flashcard she had written up (all 75) in front of her class of thirty students and then proceeded to tell her what she did "wasn't good enough." It is so wildly important to make education accessible to everyone and I think it is great that this was such a big focus of yours. I know how much that hurt her when she had that experience and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Great work!

Hi guys! I actually went to the science fair the other night to volunteer and I wanted to say great job! You guys really designed fun and engaging experiments that the kids really enjoyed doing. Many of the students only spoke Spanish so it was very considerable of your guys to have given equal access of instructions for Spanish speakers. I think this is an excellent Peer Assessment Rubric! It really does an amazing job at emphasizing the students, who should be central throughout this whole process, but also does an amazing job at ensuring that there is a quality for the teachers/student-teachers throughout the process as well, as if the teachers aren't happy, that will be very noticeable to the students. Furthermore, I think this rubric does an amazing job at emphasizing the importance of collaboration and discussion between various parties, such as student to student, teacher to student, student to teacher, and teacher to teacher. While this rubric has many of the same strengths as the others in this padlet, the one thing I found unique to this one was its emphasis upon ensuring it focuses on multilingual inclusion. As teachers in a country where English is viewed as the predominant language, it's oftentimes easy to forget the importance of ensuring students of a diverse linguistic background are not forgotten. However, including it as a part of this rubric ensures that any group making use of it is wary of this pitfall, and prepares to overcome it to not only ensure the success of the English speaking students, but also all others of different linguistic backgrounds, which additionally helps to develop the welcoming atmosphere of the class.
