The Albany congress is a congress where delegates and representatives from all of the colonies join together to discuss topics. One of the more well-known topics talked about at the Albany Congress was the Alban Union Plan, this plan was a plan to make an inter colonial government as well as a plan for collecting taxes but was never taken into effect.

Different Native American tribes allied themselves with different European powers often based off of territory lines established by war. For example tribes located near French territories fought alongside the French because they had a good relationship with them. Alliances such as these were established for the protection of each native tribe against other European powers that might otherwise intrude on their territory.
