This shows how Spotify provides to its users depending on what they want this power is now a huge force with other apps such as iTunes that tailor their services to their clients as this is the way the industry has gone and is continuing to go with users listening to their music mainly via their personal devices such as Phones and iPod devices the music industry now revolves more around the individual user than a potential audience 


An advantage of global availability has personally helped me with my instrument an is something I use very day i get to practice which is a drumming YouTube channel called Drumeo what these guys do is post new session everyday with all kinds of top drummers showing you how to better yourself in all aspects of drumming on of which i use a lot would be technique and form. This has allowed me to perhaps advance further and faster in my playing than previously before. It also has tough me new skills and is a tool of practice that i use alot, this global availability through the use of YouTube as a platform for reaching out to other drummers and helping them in their playing is a huge positive.

One huge advantage is that advertisements can be uploaded and used for publicity Facebook pages can also be created allowing for a dedicated music page where people can booked and get in contact with the artist. This means bookings and more contacts as well as a place on line to upload covers and network yourself putting your name out there this is a definite advantage of the global availability we have today.

This for example is an major opportunity for any artists that are looking to become recognized as it allows them to showcase their talent. In addition to this there is another website in particular that is aimed at musicians and helping them to achieve their goals whilst looking after them. Musicians Union this site defiantly provides an opportunity to the music community more so to those starting out allowing them to protect their music by from copyright under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Hip-hop to me anyway the line has been blurred between these two genres with elements of both going hand in hand like the hard bass line found in EDM music is also heard in hip-hop more now I think than originally I think so anyway as when hip-hop started off it was more melodic and along the lines of Rap music.
