Based on the world map and world climate map, the Eastern United States would have a beneficial geography for trade. On the world map, it shows that the United States is surrounded by many bodies of water. Being surrounded by so much water is definitely beneficial for trade because you will need to use boats for transportation of goods. Also, on the world climate map, the Eastern United States is covered in the color green which means a temperate climate.
