         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:</strong><br>Emotional connection is when you believe in or want to believe in something because it has emotional meaning to you. This sometimes makes you only see information you want to see because your perception is blurred and irrational due to emotions.<br><br></div><div><strong>Connection:</strong><br>In this youtube video from "buzzfeed" a medium contacts the dead relatives of these people. At the end of the video the one lady says "its really hard to say that this medium stuff is real, but its real". You can view the official trailer here: </strong><a href="https://youtu.be/gDkWt4Rl-ns"><strong>https://youtu.be/gDkWt4Rl-ns  </strong><br><br></a><strong>Define Problem:  </strong><br>Is the Earth flat or a sphere?</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Gather Information: </strong><br>This movie revolves mainly around "flat Earth" Mark Sargent and his life as an active member of the flat Earth society. The evidence and points of view argued are all in favour of the earth being flat.   </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Evaluate Evidence:</strong> <br>The source is reliable, but all the facts they shared were all pro-flat earth. They did not successfully disprove that the earth is round. <br><br><strong>Recognize Assumptions, Emotions, Biases:</strong> <br>The personal assumptions, emotions, and bias are that Mark Sargent is a flat earther. He believes that the earth is flat and therefore the proof he, and this documentary present are in favour of the earth being flat.<br><br></div><div><strong>Synthesize Evidence, Identify Alternatives:  </strong><br>Alternative Solution 1:<strong> </strong>The Earth is flat and scientists have been lying about Earth’s shape for unknown reasons.</div><div>Alternative solution 2: The Earth is round and scientist have enough evidence to gain approval for this fact to be taught in schools.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Select Best Alternative: </strong> </div><div>Based off of the evidence provided throughout history, I conclude that the Earth is in fact spherical in shape.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
