Esta postura firme de Holz fue fundamental para que América Latina tuviera un rol activo y autónomo en la conformación de su infraestructura de Internet, evitando la imposición de autoridades extranjeras en la gestión de la naciente red mundial.

Scene 1: On the city

(Ida walks back home. Suddenly, she hears a woman shouting. She hides behind a wall and looks out.)

Activist (Sabina): (shouting) "Down with the dictatorship! Freedom for our people!"

(Two soldiers approach aggressively.)

Soldier 1(Ana Luz): "You dare speak against the government?"

Activist(Sabina): "We deserve democracy! We won’t stop fighting!"

Soldier 2(Paulina): "We warned you..."

(Soldier 1 (Ana Luz)pulls out a gun and shoots. The activist dies. Ida gasps, covering her mouth to stop from screaming. 

Soldier 1(Ana Luz): "No one will dare us. Let’s go."

(The soldiers walk away. Ida runs to the activist, but she is already lifeless. Shaking, she takes a deep breath and hurries home.)

Scene 2: Ida and Anhelo’s Home
(Ida rushes into the small apartment, visibly shaken. Anhelo looks up from packing a bag.)

Anhelo(Paulina): "Ida! What happened?"

Ida(Julieta): (breathing heavily) "They killed her, Anhelo. Right in front of me. I can’t stay here anymore. We have to leave."

Anhelo(Paulina): (nods) "I’ve been thinking the same. Mexico will be safer for us. We’ll start over there."

(Ida hesitates, looking around their home.)

Ida(Julieta): "Leaving feels like giving up."

Anhelo(Paulina): "No. It’s surviving. And from there, we can still fight for our people."

(Ida looks into Anhelo’s determined eyes, then takes his hand and nods. They continue packing, preparing for exile.)

Scene 3: Mexico – A Communication Center
(Ida sits at a desk, surrounded by radios and telephones. She is helping to develop communication networks for people around the world. Anhelo enters with a newspaper.)

Anhelo(Paulina): "Your work is making a difference, Ida. People are connecting, organizing."

Ida(Julieta): (smiling) "I still feel like I should be there, fighting."

Anhelo(Paulina): "You are fighting. Every connection you help build strengthens the movement."

(The Director of the communication center enters, holding a folder.)

Director(Ana Luz): "Ida, your dedication has been invaluable. We want to offer you the position of President of the center. Your leadership can take this to the next level."

(Ida looks down, thinking for a moment before shaking her head.)

Ida(Julieta): "I appreciate this more than I can say, but my place is back home. I have to return and be part of the change from within."

(The Director sighs but nods in understanding.)

Director(Ana Luz): "Then go, Ida. But know that you’ll always have a place here if you need it."

(Ida looks at Anhelo, with determination in her eyes.

They prepare for the journey back to their homeland, ready to face whatever comes next.)

En la segunda clase, hicimos el contexto contando como sería la obra, e hicimos un "borrador" del guión.

La tercera clase, hicimos el guión definitivo y se lo mostramos a la profesora.

Y por último, en la cuarta clase lo actuamos un poco.

Fue capaz de destacar en el área de informática y tecnología a pesar de los desafíos que tenía en una época en la que, por ser mujer en un ambito predominante masculino, no podian acceder a estudios avanzados.

En la dictadura, se exilió en México, y siguió trabajando. Allí, ayudó en el avance de la tecnología en Latinoamérica, promoviendo el acceso al conocimiento tecnológico.

A pesar de las dificultades que esto conllevaba, pudo contribuir al internet en su región y a la inclusión digital en la educación con participación en la programación de Plan Ceibal.
