The message she was giving was about getting rid of the division and the systemic racism that we have in the US. I wonder if she will do more poems like this

I noticed how intelligent of a speaker she truly is. She speaks with such passion, that nearly brought me to tears. Just hearing this speak and how inspiring it was made me shiver in my chair. I wondering how effective this speak was for others, as for me it showed how us as Americans will never be defeated, and there's always sunshine at the end of a storm. Poets inspire others with their wit and passion, not just for writing, but for people.

Her response to these current events are optimistic that we can make a change. What stands out to me the most is how she reads the poem and how her voice was full of confidence, passion, and motivation. She also uses good gestures that compliment her tone of voice really well.

I noticed that she talks about the future and what we need to do as a society to become a whole and how she doesn't talk about the past and talk about what we did wrong, but instead what we could do differently. What stands out to me is when she said "For while we have our eyes on the future" because most people are focused on the future and don't look back to reflect on what they did.
