The aim of this project is to know more about European Christmas traditions, which are part of the Cultural Heritage. The project will run from November to February. First, students will introduce themselves and their schools, exchange digital Christmas cards and describe Christmas traditions in their own hometown. Then, they will compare and discuss their different traditions and collaborate to realize one final product (an e-book). FInally, they will evaluate and assess the project and their performances. The project is pedagogically based on cooperative learning and problem solving. It is integrated in the national curriculum because it involves the description of festivities (English), the meaning of Christmas (Religious Education), the use of tools and computing (ICT), the respect for different religions and traditions (Citizenship).
