  • Hydrocephalus: A build up of fluid in the cavities of the brain
  • Cleft palate: A lack of closure or opening in the roof of mouth
  • Cortical deafness: When a patient is recognized to be entirely deaf, but for seemingly no apparent reason. Meaning that there’s no apparent damage to the anatomy of the ear.
  • Auditory Processing Disorder: A condition solely recognized in children, characterized by a lack of coordination between the auditory cortex and the brain.
  • Expressive language disorder: People who have difficulty expressing themselves through speech, writing or gesture.
  • VP Shunt: a medical device that relieves pressure on the brain caused by fluid accumulation
  • Botox Injections: by injecting botox into the submandibular glands, you can control excessive drooling in children
