This invasion resulted in deaths and damage to a peaceful democracy in a long time. Elective representatives hid under their desks terrified and Trump was supporting these behaviors. Tweets that Trump posted on Twitter supported these actions however, in interviews, he asked his supporters to stop their actions and "Go home in peace." With the election in a couple of weeks, Trump supporters did their best to keep Trump in power and not let Biden beat Trump. Unfortunately for his supporters, Biden got elected as the next president. Then again, they terrorized Biden and started protesting. Again, they broke into the U.S. Capitol more violently. Many people were injured and killed. That didn't stop them until they got what they wanted.
