I received a BSc (Hons) degree in Heterogeneous Chemistry from University of New England, Armidale at New South Wales, Australia (1998) and a PhD in Supramolecular Organic Chemistry in 2005 from my alma mater university. After completing several postdoctoral and senior research fellowships in Australia, USA and in the Middle East, I joined Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Tronoh, Perak in in 2015 as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Fundamental and Applied Sciences. My interests and research program lies at the interface of nanoparticles, polymers and material sciences. I teach Chemistry for both Foundation and Undergraduate students at UTP. Outside my working and teaching hours, you will find me doing some of the followings: jogging, cycling, hiking, bbq-ing, networking, listening to music, travelling, volunteering work.
Big Dreams: To be an inventor for a product/service that can help the society at large towards the development of innovative solutions to major energy, health and nanotechnology challenges.
