The ski resort will destroy the environnement, and the important wildlife in the land of Patagonia will be affected. We can imagine a real decrease of the biodiversity in this region, and, on the long terme, a disparition of several species (like grizzly bears), endemic of this landscape. Furthermore, there are already many ski resort throught the world, so this is not a necessity to open this station. 
On the other hand, the ski resort will increase the economy of Canada.
