         <title>My Own Career Goals</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I hope to pursue medicine in the future, specifically in family medicine. This field in medicine specializes in caring for the entire family. A Family Practitioner uses their knowledge and training to diagnose and treat a variety of medical issues including disease, illness, or infection. Typically, if the patient's illness goes outside their range of practice, they refer the patient to a specialist. I am passionate about family medicine because it does not pertain to a specific field in medicine, but rather a broad range of diagnosis. Not only does it allow me to treat individual patients, but rather treat families and create a further bond.</div>]]></description>

         <title>How Biomedical Engineering Relates to Me</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My father uses a device called a CPAP machine. This machine is form of respiratory ventilation used in treatment of sleep apnea, while tracking one's therapy progress and performance over time and providing advanced data to your doctor. Sleep apnea is a sleeping disorder in which breathing constantly stops and starts. (Mayo Clinic Staff, 2018) For years, my dad experienced episodes of shortness of breath, along with intense coughing, snoring, and gasping in his sleep. Due to these complications, my dad failed to undergo a proper night's sleep. After beginning to use the CPAP machine, my dad instantly noticed a change in his sleep. His breathing became steadier, while his snoring decreased. For the first time in 20 years, my dad's breathing had finally improved, allowing him to feel fully rested.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
