Patent- it protects the involved product/inventions and the process of how the creator's made it. It not let anyone to copy it because it is a product of hardwork.

Trademark- protects the name and logos of a product of one company, it is used so that other company/competitors will not make the same. Trademark infringement is the violation of it.
