In 2020 the Covid 19 pandemic hit, causing worldwide program closures. staffing issues and emotional strain on providers in childcare. As the stay-at-home orders were becoming enforced and the working families could no longer go to work, funding for childcares were becoming impossible. Finally in 2021 the government was able to fund 1.9 trillion to help with childcares.
