It really depends because even if it is a moral society there might be that one bad apple. If that one person does something like break into someone's house even if they were not violent the person who owns the house should be able to defend their property. Even if they do it violently. So I disagree.

I'm going to have to strongly disagree with this one. Sometimes in order to keep peace and tranquility bloodshed and violence is necessary. If a moral society was pacifist it would be overrun faster than the flash can run a mile. So no, violence and bloodshed is needed to bring fear to keep the place structurally sound and "morally" correct.

Violence and bloodshed can be a necessary evil to make change. Peace and diplomacy doesn't solve every problem, and sometimes violence must be used to preserve peace for the future. Having an enemy to fear or be violent against can also unite us. Violence shouldn't be tolerated, which is why it has a place as a last resort.
