2. The beans are then polished by removing the silver skin on the beans
3. They are then roasted for the aroma and flavor in coffee
4. The coffee beans are then sorted by size, weight, color or flaws and are packaged to be sent to restaurants or cafe's such as Starbucks, where they buy the coffee for about $1.30 a pound.
