Die Johann-Lemmerz-Grundschule ist die kleinste der sieben städtischen Grundschulen im Stadtgebiet von Königswinter und im Talbereich der Gemeinde zu finden.
An unserer Grundschule lernen derzeit circa 120 Kinder aus 28 Nationen.
Der Unterricht findet in Jahrgangsmischung statt, d.h. Kinder in der ersten und zweiten Jahrgangsstufe und Kinder in der dritten und vierten Jahrgangsstufe arbeiten jeweils in einem gemeinsamen Klassenverband zusammen. Dabei ist uns eine vertrauensvolle, positive und auf gegenseitige Achtung ausgerichteten Lern-und Arbeitsatmosphäre sehr wichtig.
Wir sind als GL-Schule eine Schule des gemeinsamen Lernens. Ausgehend von den unterschiedlichsten Lernvoraussetzungen und Begabungen unserer Kinder treffen hier Schülerinnen und Schüler mit und ohne Behinderungen, unterschiedlichster sozialer oder ethnische Herkunft sowie verschiedener kultureller Orientierung und religiöser Überzeugung zusammen.
Unsere Sozialpädagogin, unser Sozialarbeiterinnen und unsere Sonderpädagoginnen gehen in ihrer differenzierten Bildungs- und Erziehungsarbeit engagiert und professionell auf die vielfältigen Entwicklungs-, Lern-, und Erziehungsvoraussetzungen unserer Kinder ein.
Wir, die Kinder, Eltern und das gesamte Schulpersonal erleben unsere kulturelle Vielfalt als wertvolle Chance und als persönlichen Gewinn für ein vertrauensvolles und respektvolles Miteinander sowie für ein erfolgreiches gemeinsames Lernen.
