Svaldi Year 3 I&S-Giving student choice- This year I am trying to give more options for students to chose how they want to share their learning. This has created more engagement and accountability because they are in charge of what they want to learn.

One way we are providing inquiry based teaching in Unit 1 is by providing student choice. We are also teaching the unit differently than we have in the past. Rather than focusing on the civilizations, we are focusing on the traits of civilizations and allowing students to make the connections to the ancient civilizations though inquiry and research. Our GRASPS project is also inquiry based.
