Harmful addictions such as alcohol and gambling, prevalent before Islam, now manifest in different forms like drug abuse and excessive social media consumption. The first revelation, commanding the Prophet (PBUH) to "Read" (Iqra), highlights the importance of education in combating ignorance, a lesson still relevant in addressing today’s challenges.
