At SOL, I always got the space to experiment, the trust to take up space and the permission to fail and try again. I don't know if I would have grown this way anywhere else or working with anyone else, esp in a world where trust depends on the number of years of work experience you hold.

I have seen what it has taken for you to carry this org and all its people through the pandemic years, through your time at Harvard (staying up late or waking up super early just to get on calls while balancing masters ka load), or travelling for weeks and weeks on end so that we get to run our programs and get our salaries on time- sometimes at the cost of sacrificing your own sleep, peace of mind or need for comfort/ home.

I have also seen the sensitivity and thoughtfulness with which you've handled our toughest moments : CSP issues, inter personal problems or strategic decisions.

Thank you for making SOL always feel like home, for navigating discomfort to reach middle ground and for prioritising our children over anything else, always.

Kitna kuch hai kehne ko, words don't seem to be wording. But in short there is so much to learn from and admire in who you are and what that enables for us at SOL.
