         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the early 1800's corn and beans were common , along with pork,in the north,cows provided milk butter, and beef, while in the south , were cattle was uncommon, venison and other game provided meat. Preserving food in 1815, before the era of refrigeration, required smoking, dying, or salt meat.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The boys task was to provide food for their family. They also went hunting or trapping fish. The Girls spent their day cooking, milking the cows or goats. They also had to take care of their younger brother and sister and also helping elderly family members. The children learned to read write and do math at home in one room schoolhouse where their was one teacher but the teacher could be 14 or 15 years old. They had no buses and had to walk 2 or 3 miles away. </div>]]></description>

         <title>In the early 1800&#39;s Woman would spend most of their entertainment writing letters. Most of the time, If the adults had a kid they would spend most of their breaks with them and go to the park to entertain them. Some sports that they had in the early 1800&#39;s were boxing, chess, cotswold games, cricket, curling, football, golf, and horse racing. The cotswold is an annual public celebration of games and sports now held on friday after spring bank holiday chipping campden, in the cotswolds of england.</title>
