Polish Primary Schools Championship
 in Wrestling 🥇🥉Stargard 2021
A sensational performance was recorded by the students of our school during the wrestling competition
 in Stargard where they won two gold medals
 and brown. Igor Kaczmarek was unrivaled in the 41 kg category, who won all his fights without losing a point and won the title of the Polish Champion. The second of our pupils, Kacper Szadkowski, also had a very good start, winning the bronze medal🥉 It should be noted that Kacper competed in the new, higher weight category up to 48 kg. Congratulations to our athletes and good luck
 in subsequent starts.

On Saturday, a large group from Piąteczka took part
 in the 12th Memorial of Władysław Lisiecki with significant successes in running at various distances and in various age groups.
At the same time, as part of the National Sports Day, there was a wrestling show in which our students participated. The icing on the cake was the bronze medal won on Sunday by Frank Suszek in the National Wrestling Tournament in Sieradz. Congratulations
 for everyone and we are delighted that you are actively spending your free time. Way to go.

Great Olympic Lesson of PE 🏆🥇😀
Today another edition of the Olympic PE Lesson took place in the MOSiR hall in Zgierz. VIIa students could test their skills in such disciplines as: basketball, wrestling, fencing
and athletics. In addition to physical activities, they attended a lecture on healthy eating. The whole event was held in a nice and sporty atmosphere. Our school obtained a certificate of participation in these classes, and the young people were already asking about the next editions. We would like to thank all Olympians and coaches for a professional lesson.

Inter-voivodeship Youth Championships 🥇🥈
On Saturday in Rzeszów, students of our school competed in a wrestling tournament as part of the competition of children and youth. Once again they confirmed their dominance in the group of youngsters. The gold medal was won by Kacper Szadkowski in the 48 kg category, who played a great competition. The silver medal was won by Igor Kaczmarek in the 41 kg category.
In the final fight, after controversial judges' decisions, he lost to the titled competitor two years older, 5: 7. Franek Suszek won a good 5th place, competing in the 48 kg category. The students of Piąteczka, together with the ZTA Zgierz players, took the second place as a team, losing one point to the team from Włodawa. All boys attend grade VIIa. Huge applause for our athletes. 👋👋👋

Another edition of the competition in runs for grades I-IV took place at the MOSiR facilities in Zgierz.
Our athletes performed excellently in each age group, winning places on the "poodle".

We are very pleased to inform you about the sports successes of our pupils. The VIIIa class students "scored" as many as 5 medals during the archery competition. Krzysztof Bieńkowski won three gold medals in the individual boys' competition in the team and mixes.
His colleague Szymon Wojciechowski, on the other hand, had two medals. Gold medal in the team and bronze individually. Huge congratulations

Two hundred and sixty students of Zgierz primary schools took part in the solemn Regional Celebration of the Olympian Day. In the new sports and entertainment hall of MOSiR, named on this occasion after the Zgierz Olympians, competitions and sports competitions were held on Friday (September 24, 2021) with the participation of special guests - representatives of the Olympic family from all over Poland.

SUMMER TRAINING IN PORTUGAL 🙂⚽🥅⚽
3a students, Igor Palmowski and Konrad Matusiak took part in summer training in Portugal. As players of MKP Boruta Zgierz, they won the second place with the team in the National @Comt Coaching Club Tournament.
In Portugal, they honed their football skills under the tutelage of coaches from "Boruta" and Portuguese clubs Benefika and Sporting. Of course, there was time to explore Lisbon and swim in the Atlantic Ocean. ⛱️

Today, at the MOSiR facilities in Zgierz, athletics and relay competitions were held as part of the sports competition of the School Youth Games and the Children's Games. Our runners achieved a sensational performance, winning the 1st place and 3 second places as a team 2009 year and younger:

Boys 2nd place 🥈
Year 2007 - 2008:
Girls 1st place 🥇
Boys 2nd place 🥈
Each team played in a 6-person team, each competitor had to cover 800m.
