“Always avoid being distracted or doing other things while mass is ongoing” is a rule we should all follow — prioritizing God over other things can be beneficial, and showing respect and reverence to Him as the mass is a very sacred prayer. Our law of “Mocking God, faith, or sacred practices is forbidden” is a way of teaching ICAns to show reverence and respect God. The third commandment,  “Everyone should practice reverence and respect when praying”  spotlights the importance of prayer and praising God and how we should properly behave when we pray.  “Everyone should treat each other equally with no discrimination” highlights human dignity, reminding us of God’s dream for us to be happy and live in harmony-starts with equality. The 5th commandment, “We shall always support our classmates in school events”, shows that we shall always have each other's back not only in these events but also in difficult situations.  The 6th commandment, the rule of “Spreading false information or spreading rumors is forbidden”, shows the significance of loving your neighbors instead of badmouthing them.  The rule of “Treating your teachers respectfully and listening to what they tell you to do” is very important because they teach us not only lessons but also discipline and other virtues which will help us in the future. This commandment, “Always listen before you speak and value others’ opinions even if they differ from yours” displays the importance of being fair — respecting others beliefs even if they are different from yours.| Our ninth commandment promotes responsibility among students, teachers, and staff in keeping the campus and school facilities clean. Lastly, the tenth commandment emphasises the importance of honesty among the school body and the importance of giving credit to others.

I can show love to God in the light of the First Three Commandments by following them and ensuring that I won’t break them, eventually disobeying God and choosing to sin, rather than commending Him.

I can show love to others and myself in light of commandments 4-10 by respecting everyone around us especially the teachers when in school and we should always be mindful of what we say to our peers as it could offend them.

Our fourth commandment, everyone should treat each other with no discrimination, fulfills the ICAn responsibility as a follower of God and as a member of the church because it reminds us that God created all people equally and calls us to work together in harmony as we take care of His creations. We should treat each other with kindness and respect regardless of our differences.
