As a member of the kaleidoscope online museum project. My aim is to design a padlet space that can display my results to an online community. The country I chose is Pakistan. The location causes the country to develop multi culture and government. The uniqueness of Pakistani culture is in terms of the people’s value around Islamic religion. However, at the same time there are various different ethic groups that hold Islamic customs that differ from the normal Islamic practices. In contemporary society Pakistani cultures are under the threat of globalization, for instance there are over 74 traditional languages spoken in Pakistan, but only dozens of languages still exist and are threatened under Latin and English. Globalization caused the culture of Pakistan to be threatened in contemporary society. The uniqueness of Pakistani culture should be preserved and continue to pass down to the next generation. I will be displaying endangered cultures of Pakistan by using videos and photos on my padlet page.
