So important for our young students!

Why does cursive writing have to be a tested area? Can't there be another way....

I'm also wondering why cursive writing has to be a tested area for students.  Is this realistic, meaning is this a necessary tool for our time today?  We're constantly being pushed towards technology, technology, TECHNOLOGY (which is all in print), when and where "in the real world" is the use of cursive writing logical?

Data is proving that it is working with our students. I have seen major growth in the students that I have been working with. I do have concerns about cursive writing being a tested area. I think it should be taught, but not tested.
