During this time many gases were being isolated such as Oxygen and Nitrogen . This is also the time when Antoine Lavoisier and L.B.G deMorveau made something called Table of Simple Substances. This would now be known as the Periodic table but back then it was only one column.

He was then nicknamed the father of the periodic table because later elements gallium, scandium, and germanium were discovered with the masses that he predicted.

Now many scientist think that the table will need to be fixed later on because the tables periodically could break down due to the atoms getting bigger.
