I am shocked seeing that my investigative and realistic scores are higher than my artistic scores. I have always been more artistic with everything. I'm not saying these results are wrong but I guess I learned something new about myself or this is growth throughout the years? The first test shows my career path should be psychology and the second test show psychology and teaching. This differs from what I am majoring in currently as I am going for radiation therapy. There is similarity which is helping people and solving an issue. With my current and past jobs I have always been the one in charge of training new people because of how detailed, patient and caring I am as a person. Because of this feedback throughout the years I actually have questioned if I would make a good teacher and if I should shift careers. That being said, I don't disagree with the results I have been given for my suggested career paths. I think it's very accurate for me.

My flow is being creative. Creativity is what energizes, excites me and that I enjoy. This ranges from arts and crafts, projects, photography, decorating a home and hairstyles, you name it. The ability to express myself comes easy to me without struggle. I am stuck in my head of ideas with the ability to achieve and not worry about the distractions around me and forget about time. For example, one year my daughter was Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween and I wanted to recreate images seen with my own spin. While doing so, I wasn't worried about anything around me, instead focusing on achieving my goal. I did this by fixing her hair, making sure her costume was laying right to get the perfect look. Since we were in a public place there were people that would walk by us but I was too busy making sure I had a good angle to care. Being hyper focused time flew by and it was almost 2 hours later that we went home. When being creative I don't think about the award but the satisfaction I feel when in action. That I'm able to do this on my own!

I'm not proud but this could be worse. At least it's not saying I'm 20 years plus what I am now. I am currently 30 years old and it's saying my health age is 10 months older. I understand I am over weight so it's clear that I need to better my eating habits and improve my activity level. I am easily stressed and full of anxiety. I have dealt with this for as long as I can remember but this is causing me to be older. I stay up late to either do school work or fit in reading which is one of by hobbies, but I need to start thinking about more hours of sleep. Though I am plus size that doesn't mean I don't care about my health. I have good habits with doctor's appointments and never missing them, but I should get my cholesterol checked. Thank goodness for not being a smoker and enjoying going for walks. These good habits are helping me stay younger. Seems as if I have bad, bad habits but good, good habits that is balancing my health age and current age to be practically the same. I'm simply getting older though, so the bad habits will soon impower the good. Time to get serious about my health to be able to live a longer life.

I won't be living until I'm 100. I'll possibly be living until I'm in my 80's! That's about 50 more years to live. It's no secret to anyone that maintaining a healthy weight calls for a long life. According to my feedback if I focus on losing weight this could add 15 years! That is a lot of years that I didn't realize an unhealthy weight jeopardized. I never thought about how much longer I could live if I were to lose weight but now seeing the number I am in shock. That's a big difference! It could be a total of 18 years if I lose weight and maintain a strict clean diet with no fast food. An interesting fact I have learned is a baby aspirin could add 2 years to my life. Taking a aspiring every day can improve the health of my heart and brain and help prevent heart attacks and strokes. Overall, if I listen to all the advice given I could easily live until I am 100.

There is nothing I didn't like about this course. I loved what this course was about I was never bored with learning. There was a lot of work, but it was easy and a lot of it was extra credit which I LOVED. Online courses can be annoying when you don't understand something because you have to wait for a response from an instructor. With this course I didn't have this issue due to how detailed in assignments you were. This was my favorite thing and helped so much! When I did reach out even your responses were quick. What was different with this class than the one's in the past are the discussion boards were fun! They were actual projects instead of the generic responses to the teacher and a student. The discussion boards actually helped with learning! The reminders through email and reminder app did help me as well. The way this course was ran you can really tell you love your career and what you do which helps students succeed!

In chapter 13 and 14 we learn about how perspective of priorities changes and health problems. To be able to live my life to the fullest when I reach late life is being healthy. As we get older parts of us don't work as well anymore. Such as our eyesight, hearing and motor abilities. Though some things we can't prevent we can prevent some diseases. Exercising helps your heart and memory. The most important thing I can do is create a workout plan to have some type of physical activity everyday and eat healthy. After reading chapter 13 I now understand why people say old people don't care. Because the things that were important to them life work and being social lower to just being around people who are most important. If I change this mindset early in life I could be happy and less stressed. I'm always stressed because I care too much about everything. Once I learn to change my perspective and get active, I will be living life to the fullest!

When I gave birth to my daughter my father in law said something to me that has always stuck with me and I think of often which impacts my parenting. He said, "Aubrey is perfect. Think about it, she is so pure. Born perfect." He's right, She was born with no health or mental health problems. My newborn daughter doesn't know the struggles real life can hit you with. It's my responsibility to make sure my little girl grows up with a good head on her shoulders. This is why I think early childhood is the ideal stage. It's when your parenting styles are in full effect. Parenting skills are the result of how children grow up. Our textbook on page 195 talks about the different types of parenting skills there are. One of the best parenting styles is authoritative. Where there is a great balance of clear boundaries, love and support. As parents we want our children to be respectful and be successful adults but it truly starts with how we are as parents. This is why I believe the ideal stage is early childhood.
