Today is the first day i do my SIEP 3. I feel so happy and blessesd because i got this clinic to do my SIEP. It is because i can get new experiences and knowledges about dental health and wellness. As usual, for starting i got briefing from nurses and doctors about the clinic. Besides, i learn about the tools and apparatus that are used at the clinic. My second day working at Aplus dental clinic. Today i learn how to register walk in patients and key in patients data using computer. I also learn how to make a call with patients. Everyday the nurse on duty have to call patients to remind their appointment and ask them for confirmation. Today I learn how to make denture stone. Denture stone is for patients to make denture. Before making the denture stone, doctor will check the patients teeth/mouth. Then, doctor will do any treatments that required and put the mixture to make denture stone into patient's mouth. After that, it will undergo process to make the denture stone and dry it. Then, we have to inform the lab to collect the denture stone from cilinic.

My work today is washing, packing and sterilization apparatus and tools. After we used the apparatus during the treatment, we have to wash it in a correct way by steps. Firstly, we put the apparatus in the water contain boselin which is like liquid soap to kill the bacteria. Then, we wash in the running water then put them in the '.   ' for 480 second. Then after the process, we wipe using towel to remove the water. Then we packing using specilize packaging. Lastly, we put the apparatus in '. Today i make cotton gauze and bite gauze. Cotton gauze is important because doctor and dental assistant will use during treatment. While bite gauze is used after doctor take out patient's tooth. Doctor will placed the bite gauze in the mouth to stop the bleeding. In the morning, i started my work with doing some cleaning at the clinic.   I swept the floor and watering the plant. I also clean the chairs and waiting area. Then, when patients arrived, i assist the doc. I have learn about the treatment such as filling, scalling and polishing, xla, and many more. Besides, i also wash the tools and apparatus, packing them, and cooked them in the machine.

Today i do my daily work such as cleaning, sterealizing, packing, assist doctors, prepare and clean the chairs. Before patient enter the surgery room for treatment, i have to prepare the chair. I have to put the beeb, cup, exam set, tray, glove for doctor. Then, i open the door and called the patient's name. As the patient enter the surgery room and sit at the chair, i put the beeb on patient chest to cover from dirty, adjust the lamp, fill the cup with water, give goggle to patient, open exam set and many more. After treatment process, i have to clean the chair with proper way. Wipe all the apparatus and chair using wet tissue. In the morning before clinic was open, I swept the floor in doctor's office room an then prepared the chairs for both surgery room (Surgery Room 1&2). Then, after doctor came and patients arrived I assist the doctor during dental treatment. In the afternoon, I packed medicines which is painkiller. As I've been told, painkillers will be given to patients who undergo extraction (XLA). After that, I called patients for the next day to remind them about appointment. When there is patient, I assist the doctor. When there is no patient, I washed the tools, packed, and sterelized. Then, I make the cotton gauze and bite gauze.
