For the branding of my film, I wanted to follow the typical colour scheme from romantic comedies, which consists of the colours red and white. When I asked a few peers what they thought of this font, all argued that it is 'too bold' and the words are not clear enough. I agree with this as I want it to look more simple than.

I then thought of change one of the words to white font to see if this would make it any clearer yet it turned out to look less visible than the first idea. Most of my peers also said that this font looked more like it was for an 'action film; rather than a romantic comedy.

For this design I then chose a simpler font that looked almost handwritten to represent the theme of 'school' as I planned my first scene to be in a classroom, however I feel that this would not stand out enough and is not as aesthetic as the brand could be. It almost gives a rough effect which again slightly leans more towards the 'action' genre.

I believe this is the best design to suit a romantic comedy as it is quite bold yet still subtle to the eye as it does not look as harsh as the other two font styles. I also added a bit of shadow to the letters so that it shows a 3D effect to show some depth to the brand name. By using the colour red it symbolises 'romance' and 'passion' which is associated with 'love', linking to the conventions of my chosen genre.
