If a student does not have a good grasp of the academic language then they will struggle with the texts and tasks assigned in class. This can make the student feel uncomfortable in class and then they will probably not want to attend class.&nbsp;The more students use academic discourse, the more they will have the confidence to participate in academic discourse. </div>]]></description>
