Because he studied history at his A-Level courses and really interested in history. When we think about the war, the ideas are death, cruel, weapons etc.… He also studied at some WAR artistes to explore his ideas. However, he also realised that war ends as peace. Therefore, he tried to find a space between war and peace, tried to rebuild the war. His talk inspired me a lot in my own studies. As we always explore one topic but ignore its antonym. Sometimes we can try to rebuild the topic as one word and find the space between them. So, she started to use her left hand to write down some poems or articles to practice. Also practiced specific letter A, she did hundreds of A on one piece of paper and see how it change when it become habit. Therefore, she wrote downs some poems or the other writings regularly and at the end of the project, the change of the writing could be seen clearly in those pieces. Now, she still uses both hands to do daily writing. Her talk about her project inspired me a lot in my own project. As I am a Fashion student and I put more focus on how to create print high quality. But this idea about used left hand (I am right-hander) and do print could also be an interesting and unique way to create some print or textile in my project. As the speaker showed us the data that in recent years, TV and streaming (especially Netflix and YouTube) is a really popular way in the top of the trend. Also, Social Media influence is another most important and popular way (especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok). As nowadays the technology highly developed, laptops or phones became our daily use. Also, with the situation of Covid-19, everyone locked down with social distance, we can only use social media at that time. Thus, social media became the most important trend in recent years. And obviously the number of newspaper and magazines subscriptions decreasing on the other hand. As this new trend also important for us fashion student, because we need to know the latest trend and information to explore out works. For example, at the lock down period, the fashion show could not happen in person, therefore, lots of brand did online catwalk with “virtual models” in virtual environment, such as Prada, Balenciaga etc... More and more digital artists and designers became popular and, NFT art/fashion became a new way (chance) for everyone. This is a new trend happened under the situation of Covid and lock down period.
