The connection I found was that I have already learned about famous and very rich millionaires that have created games and books, but this- Mr. Lemoncello- he is beyond the regular straining and stout old game maker. Mr. Lemoncello is wacky, weird, and whimsical. He has created weird and funny games, such as a game that resembles the famous Candyland! He wears wacky clothes, such as funny clown shoes and a bright red tie. His games are beyond the normal, 'Get here first' board games, because he has been known in the book to make games like, 'Make all the flaming squirrels bite all the bottoms', and 'Beat the penguins in hockey'. My connection to him is strange... Walt Disney. The reason why I compare them is because Walt Disney has created wacky and sometimes weird cartoon movies, and Mr. Lemoncello is KNOWN to make weird and fascination board games, with little secrets around the edges, same with Walt Disney.

So that is my connection for the book, "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library".

1.When Dolly Singh, Bollywood superstar, is coming out of Customs at the airport. She was so excited to see Dini, who had convinced her to com to America. She ran towards Dini and they were so excited, it reminded me of when I go to India and see my grandparents.

2. The next connection I made was that this is set in Washington D.C. I went to Washington D.C. for spring break and went to the Smithsonian which is one important place in this story.

3. I have also made the connection where Dini is coming back from India. She says that she suffers jet lag, and I know because it happens to me all the time!

4. I also connected that Dini and I are both Indian girls living in America.

5. I connected when Dolly lost her passport to when my mom lost something very important, throwing everyone into a state of unease.

6. When Dolly lost her passport, she wanted a rose petal milkshake but nobody knew what it was at the hotel except for Dini, Chickoo Uncle and maybe Maddie. I connected this to when someone asked my mom for a bagel when she was new to the country and she had no idea what a bagel was.

7. We are hinted that Dolly's passport fell out of her bag when she was on the taxi ride. This also reminded me of when my mom lost something important because it just slipped out.

8. This also connects to when my mom lost something important. In the story it was suggested Dolly look for something at the lost and found. The lost and found, in real life, is where my mom found the important thing.

9. Someone named Mr. Mani called Dolly in the story. I just noticed, Mr. Mani is a way to refer to my dad.

As you can see, there are many ways that this book had been able to connect to my (and my parents') life.

I can connect that Artemis fowl is persistent, here is an example. "I'm on my way", Artemis said. 

"This session is not over", Po exclaimed. 

"Maybe not but I have more important things to attend to", Artemis responded. Artemis left the room. This is my connection and example on Artemis fowl. I would like to do a connection for another character from the book, who is only known as Butler. I can connect that Butler is elite. One other thing, holly is an elf, but is a tiny elf. Here is my example for Butler. Holly opened her helmet visor and there was a long, quiet hiss. Butler immediately turned around, holding a gun.

" Where are you, fairy, show yourself", Butler said.Those are my connections and examples.
