1.1 What is collaborative learning?
In my opinion, Collaborative learning is an important tool to engage members of a group in the learning process. It teaches students supporting each other while learning. By this, they can develop their skills and become more active in the class.

1.2 Collaborative learning in a flexible classroom

My classroom set up is not flexible and interactive like the one shown in the video. But the video inspired me to create a new space and gave me ideas to improve the classroom environment. Although, my students take advantage of what the school offers to them. They develop their skills using the technology tools.

1.3 Collaborative learning through project-based learning
I never used the "circle time" described in this video but I always ask and stimulate feedback from my students. However, I agree that technology becomes very useful in class especially when collaborative practices are used.

1.4 A foreign language teacher’s experience of collaborative learning
I think behavior management is a challenge for me because it is very difficult to monitor team work.

1.5 A History & Geography teacher’s experience of collaborative learning
I do collaborative work with my colleagues and these are moments of sharing and enrichment. Indeed, new methodologies bring new challenges that motivate us to keep up with the good work.

1.6 Module 1 Learning Activity
Every year I organize an exposition related to the subject I teach which is History. Students cooperate together doing a project related to an history event I choose ( different event in each year). By this, they get interested in small details about history event and have fun while doing it. Their project can be a research or even if we are talking about Discoveries Portugal has made in the 15th century.
They build with plastic materials a boat imitating the real ones. Like I said, by doing this they get into History like they lived in that era. I think it's important for them to understand how it was to live in that era and what challenges our sailers went through. They keep interested on the subject, strengthening the relationships with other students while they are working on their project.

2.2 Embedding collaborative learning into lesson design
It is a fact that innovative teaching practices are associated with 21st century learning outcomes.
I agree that technology can support new pedagogies and is very useful to make our activities more interesting. We must accept that the role of the teacher has changed over the years and the most important thing is to help our students developing their skills and also orientating them to achieve their goals by themselves.

2.3 The 4 Collaboration Questions
The four major questions presented by Professor Deirdre Butler make perfect sense to me because they are very useful at helping designing our collaboration learning activity. I think collaboration and cooperative learning are a good way to increase students knowledge.
Also, I must say these issues made me reflect on how can I improve the design and management of collaborative work with my students and it's a fact working together is different working collaboratively.

2.4 21 CLD Collaboration Rubric
Indeed, I have no doubt that the rubrics Professor Deirdre Butler gave are very useful and helpful to understand the different levels of collaborative learning, step by step...
Although, I haven't used it yet.
I may say it helps us understand the level of collaboration involved in the activity we design and I think it also helps the teacher to assess students.

2.5 Collaborative learning scenarios
The seven faces/stages ( dream, explore, map, make, ask, re-make and show) of the learning scenarios are very interesting. The scenarios offer excellent and great ideas and of help developing collaborative learning activities.

2.6 Module 2 Learning Activity
The rubric is very useful and made me understand collaborative learning better and how I can use it in future activities and it will also help me to structure the activities in a most effective way. Now I have a different way to look at rubrics about whether the activities I wrote about in module 1 represent low/high levels.

3.3 Assessment for improving collaborative learning
When students work together, they help each other but when they work as a single individual, they tend to compete with other students. Assessment of collaborative work should never discourage students although it encourages them to overcome their difficulties and reach their goals.

3.4 : A sports teacher's experience of assessing collaborative learning
Very interesting. I agree that is very important to inform about the evaluation criteria at the beginning of the activity. Also, what stimulates the students it is the fact that they can reflect while they do their work.

3.5 An ICT teacher’s experience of assessing collaborative learning
I agree with the seven benefits António associates to assessing collaborative learning. I also agree that the use of digital tools and the reorganization of the classroom space are very important. I've never heard about Kahoot although it seems to me a very useful tool.

3.6 Collaborative learning and student peer reviews
I agree that when setting up student groups to work in a project often lets students free to decide who they want to work with. They can form their team. From my vision, the approaches showed in the video are suitable for daily situations. Variety of digital tools are helpful in implementing and assessing collaborative work.

3.7 Collaborative learning - What to assess and how?
I constructed my own rubrics and checklists for this purpose. I find useful the tip of involving students in the design of rubrics.

3.8 Answers to teachers’ questions on assessing collaborative learning
I find Dr. Valente suggestions very useful and interesting. Peer evaluation helps students reflect on their own work and performance. It helps developing independent students expressing their opinions freely.

4.4 The benefits and challenges of teacher collaboration

Collaborative work among teachers is fundamental to the success of an educational community. It has so many benefits. But it is necessary to create an educational environment where it can be more practice. Of course it takes time, it is a challenge, it is necessary to find time for it and sometimes it is quite difficult collaborating outside of the school. In my school, we have the opportunity to collaborate with other subjects, themes and different years that we don't teach. However I specially collaborate with colleagues that teach the same subject as I do. We share ideas and articulate them to all the different years of teaching.

I couldn't agree more with the list of skills and conditions mentioned as necessary for teacher collaboration to flourish in schools. In fact, the skills needed for teachers to effectively collaborate with other teachers are: knowledge, attitudes, skills, motivation and ethical dimension. It is also important to implement responsability, to value what each individual brings to the group and some conditions are needed for teacher collaboration in the school environment like responsability among all, take on different roles, curriculum space for collaborative planning, etc...
In the 21st century, there are still teachers who are sceptical about collaboration and it is necessary to show them the advantages of this way of working.

Technology can facilitate teachers working together.
Communicating through different platforms between all the teachers is useful. I use technology almost everyday for collaborating with other teachers and students. I recommend the use of sway, padlet, google drive. These are good tools to process, analyze and share information.
