Or, schooling at home, technically. My family still keeps a fairly consistent schedule, even though it isn't quite the same. "School" starts around 9, but I usually wake up around 7. Our basement is set up with all of the supplies we need, like pens, papers, and schoolbooks. After school, we do normal after school things, except that there isn't any homework. We watch TV, do crafts, or FaceTime with friends. I've started a crochet blanket that I might finish before quarantine is over. Hopefully we can get back to school soon. DeWine shut down schools until May 1. Hopefully, this quarantine doesn't extend past then. I'm honestly kind of mad at DeWine, even though I get his logic. By shutting everything down, he's hoping to slow the spread of COVID-19. Now that I think about it, DeWine hasn't shut everything down. Although most non-essential things are closed down, people can still go out and buy things. He hasn't instituted a complete state shutdown like some other governors. Still, could he please open the schools again? My family seems to get irritated more easily than before the outbreak. I wonder what the dog and the cat think about all of this. Our cat is an outdoor cat, so she isn't bothered that much by being home. The dog is a different story. At first, he was really excited for everyone to be home. However, our dog licks himself all the time, so he probably wants us to go back to school and work so he can lick himself. Hopefully, we will be going back on May 1. Now, we're not going back to school for the rest of the school year. We now have a boat in our driveway. (Long story) But, while schools are remaining closed, DeWine is going to start opening things up. It's going in a reverse order of how it started. He's starting with groups of 10 or less, then 50 or less, then 100 or less, and then completely opening up. Also, he isn't infringing on people's rights. At one of DeWine's press conferences, you could hear protesters outside the statehouse, but DeWine didn't do anything to stop them. That's a good thing to do, because stopping the protesters would be breaking the First Amendment. Things have been changing for me locally, too. My sister and I sometimes hang out with the neighbors. 6 feet apart, of course.
