My short-term goal is to finish this course, as many colleagues have already written. I should dedicate some afternoons to this course trying to understand better the contents and to go deeper. Another short-term goal is to have an oral assessment with one of my students about a project on which he has been worrking on from a week.
My long-term goal is to improve my L2 English competencies and to try to get the B2 certification. Last year I have attended a preparatory course, but I wasn't able to do the final examination, because I had to study for teacher national selection. So I will study more the language, train myself through videos, books and exercizebooks and speaking english in every situation I can use it.

1) Specific - the goal should be clear and objective. For that, ask yourself "What do I want to achieve specifically? Is it within my reach? Is it under my control? " A good definition specification for weight loss is "Conquer Ideal Weight".

2) Systemic - how will achieving this goal affect your life as a whole? What will you gain and lose during the journey? Does it conform to my personal values? How will your friends and family react to your Goal? It is very important that the system works as properly as possible.

3) Deadline - a key factor for any goal. It is very important that the goal has a deadline to complete. It is also very important that this deadline is congruent with the goal to be achieved. If you do not have a deadline, make one up!
4) Evidence - what parameters will you use to know if you are approaching or moving away from your goal? In our example you can use the scales, the trim of clothing, the feeback of third parties as evidences.

5) Resources - What can you count on to achieve your goal? Need to get something else? What resources are available? Practically, if I walk every day for at least 30 minutes, do I have a specific shoe for that? Since I'm going to eat more vegetables and fruit, where do I get these items? Will I need help from a professional?

6) Size - Will the goal be possible to be completed within the timeframe I desire? Is it a challenging goal? It's no use having the goal of losing 30 kg in 1 month. This will only be very damaging to the system (your body - see item 2) as it will also generate a lot of anxiety. Here is the time to use the good being so as not to think too big or too small to be challenging.

7) Alternatives - what will be the alternative ways to achieve the goal. If walking alone for 30 minutes is not going well, I'll have to find a gym, hire a personal trainer, increase walking time, etc. That is, my contingency to ensure that, even if I encounter an obstacle, I can complete my goal.
