And they had the branch names and they are Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. And starting off with the Executive, this means that the president carries out federal laws and recommends new ones, directs national defense and foreign policy, and performs ceremonial duties. Also the Legislative branch means that it is headed by Congress, which includes the House of Representatives and the Senate. The main task of these two bodies is to make the laws. Finally, Judicial means that it is Headed by the Supreme Court. Its powers include interpreting the Constitution, reviewing laws, and deciding cases involving states' rights. And the jobs and their powers are that they gave each branch powers over the other branches known as checks and balances. In the branches there was someone who made laws another one ran the daily affairs of government and the final were judges. The already had a system and money. Two patrician consuls were government. The consuls were administrators and military strategist. Each consul one year in office consoles were in charge of meetings and laws. The senate was Rome's legislative. A senate was a large group of men only it had 300 men. The senate started voting around 200s B.C and started approving laws and started construction. Rome had government officials called praetors. The praetors lead the soldier in battle.
