I expect our government to be transparent to the public about the majority of what they do. It feels strange to me that there is a wealth of information that we as the public are unaware of. I also expect government officials to act as public servants, because I think truly morally-good people that work in the government should have the goal to help other people however they can. 
3. I'm fascinated by current events/politics. Although politics can be stressful and disappointing for me because the parties don't work well together, I enjoy talking about and seeing good come from them. Voting in my first primary election was so exciting because I felt like I was becoming an active member of my community. I also try to attend marches of events I care about, such as the gun control rally. Today, it seems so difficult to forget parties/views in order to actually get work done in this country, so I think that's amazing for them to do. They explicitly state every problem they have with him in a powerful manner, and it's a good section that I respect.
I prefer to hear the Declaration spoken, because it sounds better than something I would hear in my own head.
